Academy applications are ONLY available to students who are currently in 5th Grade or 8th Grade AND live INSIDE the FBISD district boundaries. If you do not meet these requirements, you will not be allowed to apply.

IMPORTANT: Prior to beginning your application, please ensure that your contact information, phone number, email etc. is current in our system (Skyward). If your email address, physical address, or phone number is not correct, you may not receive important notifications regarding your application. Any corrections must be made through your school counselor at your current campus. *This does not apply to private or home school students applying who live in FBISD attendance zone.

You may apply to more than one academy by choosing your preferences from the drop down menu as you complete your application. Should you need any help navigating the application, please contact the Academy Coordinator for assistance.

The application to FBISD Academies is a competitive process. Your application will be evaluated and you will be contacted regarding your status. Best of luck in the process!

Application Tips:

• Teacher recommendations and essays are not required.
• FBISD students should log into the application using their FBISD user ID and their FBISD password.
• FBISD student's parents should NOT register for a new account. The FBISD student must log in using their FBISD computer login information.
• ONLY non-FBISD students may register for new account on the application screen.
• FBISD students should verify that all contact information in the application is correct. If contact information is incorrect for FBISD student, contact your current school campus counselor to have the information updated in Skyward.
• If you are interested in applying to more than one FBISD Academy, you must select all Academies to which you would like to apply, at one time then submit application. You do not submit multiple applications.
• If you have submitted the application with an error, please contact one of the FBISD Academy Coordinators via email for assistance in correcting the error. Contact information is available within the application.
